Barry Grieff CEO & Founder

Barry Grieff

Barry Grieff has over 35 years experience as a senior level executive in the entertainment, marketing, recording, and advertising industries. Mr. Grieff’s involvement with interactive media reaches back to the 1980s, when he produced the first interactive multimedia property for the Laser Disc entitled Treasure: In Search of the Golden Horse (1984). After Mr. Grieff served as National Advertising Director for the National Lampoon Magazine and East Coast Advertising Director of Rolling Stone Magazine during the 1970s, he began his music industry career at A&M Records. Starting as Director of Merchandising at A&M, he quickly became the youngest Vice President in the label’s history when he was named VP of Advertising, Merchandising and Special Projects. Mr. Grieff moved on to ABC records as the Senior VP of Marketing and would go on to become number two executive at the label. In the mid-1980s, Mr. Grieff served as CEO of the largest entertainment marketing division of IPG (Promotional Concept Group), where he worked with major franchises such as McDonalds and Coca-Cola, among others. In 1997 he became President of Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video. Mr. Grieff then went on to serve as President and CEO of The Brand Experience Lab. Barry Grieff is the CEO and Chairman of Audience Entertainment, as well as the company’s co-founder and President.

Clilly Castiglia CTO & Co Founder

Clilly Castiglia joined Audience Entertainment as one of its founding members in 2007. A pioneer in crowd gaming, she co-produced the world’s largest mass audience motion capture game Squidball for Siggraph in 2004. Since joining Audience Entertainment Ms. Castiglia’s games have broken her previous record of 4,000 players in large venues, (both Audience Entertainment’s Rockcorp Event at Royal Albert Hall and the Lyon’s Festival of Lights, each featuring games involving over 20,000 players). She has extensive technical and management experience in computer vision, real-time animation systems, real-time interaction systems with virtual characters, and design and production. She has served as the Director of Operations at the New York University Center for Advanced Technology as well as UK’s SMARTlab at University of East London. Ms. Castiglia possesses the unique creative insight and technical expertise to bring audiences all over the world into the future of interactive entertainment. Ms. Castiglia is a graduate of the New York University ITP graduate program.

Jason Reid COO

Jason extensive experience and involvement in the start-up of several companies; acquisition and sale of more than a dozen companies; oversight of several successful licensing partnerships and joint ventures; board involvement in a number of companies; financing and capital raising experience. International experience of health and leisure, publishing, technology, IT, food production and wholesale, manufacturing, open cast coal mining, retail and consultancy industries.

Scott Jones SVP, Administration & Operations

Scott Jones has over 30 years of start-up business experience as a hands-on technology venture capitalist and operations executive. He has extensive corporate partnering and distribution experience, a global rolodex, and is a strong strategist. Mr. Jones’ investment experience has yielded five IPOs and eight major trade sales. Since 2009 when Mr. Jones became the Company’s first investor, Mr. Jones has focused on Audience Entertainment operations, logistics, partnering and administration. Prior to AE, Mr. Jones was Founding Managing Director/GP of Origin Partners, a national early stage VC fund, where he was a Director/Operations Advisor to and responsible for investments in Vallent (Lucent spin-off in wireless network management software sold to IBM), Silicon Optix (Genesis MicroChip spin-off in video processor ICs sold to IDT), Narad Networks (Cisco spin-off focused on triple play cable network systems sold to Ciena), and Certes Networks (Real-time, NSA Quality, Network-Wide Encrypted Network Security). As past Senior Vice President/GP of Rothschild Ventures, the venture capital arm of the Rothschild North America Family Office, among other investments, he was responsible for investments in Actel, iSTAT, and Transwitch, all which became public companies. Prior to founding Origin, Mr. Jones made personal investments in and served on the Board of Directors or as Operations Advisor to venture-backed companies QueryObject Systems and Genesis Microchip, (both of which became public companies), and SMART Technologies Inc. (sold to i2 Technologies). He has also held operations positions in sales, marketing and engineering with large corporations including General Electric and Motorola, and was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Control Automation, a venture funded image processing start-up. Mr. Jones received a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.

Tim Ganser SVP, Research and Data Analytics

Tim Ganser

Tim Ganser is a global media, entertainment and information executive with over 20 years’ experience in the entertainment field. Possessing a unique combination of creative and analytical strengths, Ganser brings a rare perspective to understanding and analyzing marketplace trends and audience insights. Prior to joining Audience Entertainment, Ganser was Vice President, Global Product and Business Development at Capstone Global Marketing and Research Group, where he focused on developing the next generation of theatrical tracking systems and executing the company’s research projects. Additionally, Ganser served as Nielsen EDI’s Vice President, International -- leading the global client services team and managing daily operations for the box office collection agency’s nine international offices. Ganser has also held managerial positions at Warner Bros. Television and Baseline Studio Systems. With a Master of Fine Arts in Communications from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Theater from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Ganser is an in-demand public speaker and lecturer and has significant experience as an educator at the university level with tenure track, visiting and adjunct positions at major U.S. and international universities.

Jon McDermott VP, Investor Relations

Jon McDermott

Jonathan McDermott is a senior executive with over 25 years of success in brokerage, investment banking, and business consulting. Mr. McDermott has operated as Founder/Advisor to numerous entrepreneurial ventures focused on unique early stage business opportunities which leverage clear technology breakthroughs, market control, and cross border potential. In this capacity, he has developed capital advisory strategies and managed the full funds acquisition lifecycle, including development of business plans, financial information and marketing initiatives. Mr. McDermott has also been an advisor on core enterprise issues including Strategy, Differentiated Messaging/Positioning, Operations, Funding/Investment, Staffing, and Liquidity Planning. Working globally, Mr. McDermott has traveled to over 25 countries and has built a strong database of contacts across Europe, China and Southeast Asia. An aggressive networker, Mr. McDermott has the ability to leverage personal and professional contacts to identify new sources of business. His commitment to results and ability to build strong working relationships with diverse individuals has served to enhance his business success and the achievement of business goals Mr. McDermott holds a BS in Business and Finance from the University of Arizona.

Susan Montanaro

Susan Montanaro is a seasoned media executive with over 19 years experience in television, entertainment, new technology and digital platforms. Susan brings tremendous knowledge and passion as she develops creative marketing solutions for brands, big and small. No stranger to start-ups, Susan has worked with several emerging networks to bring alternative channels to the media marketplace. Susan attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor and is currently working toward a graduate degree at Fordham University.

Rich Yaffa Senior Advisor

Rich Yaffa is a global marketing and media industry leader with over 25 years of experience inthe media, new technology, sports, entertainment and cause marketing arenas. Rich brings a distinct perspective to building businesses and enterprise value through his unique experience in the convergence of content, media and brands, often finding solutions, partnerships and results where others may not have considered it. Currently, Rich is the CEO of consultancy RAY Media II and is a Senior Advisor to the Audience Entertainment Executive Team. Rich supports through the development, acceleration, coordination and execution of business strategies in the media, sports, entertainment, not for profit and brand marketing arenas. He also is an adjunct professor and teaches the Capstone Senior Thesis Business Program at The Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and is a senior advisor at JM Search, a global search firm specializing in technology, media and consumer.

Mac Cauley Creative Producer

Mac has been making films and interactive projects for as long as he can remember. He started when he was 7 years old using his toys and blocks to make little stories with his parents fancy new camcorder. His fascination with bringing characters to life urged him on to making flip books and clay animated films. He studied film and television at New York University where he also began his first foray into interactive 3D. Ever since he has been engaged in various projects ranging from the web, to film, and more recently games.
